Fruit Fly Spray

                                                   Simple Spray Kills Fruit Flies

Spring brings warm weather and Spring cleaning. It also brings fruit flies to the kitchen. Not again! But you can get rid of fruit flies real quick, with three simple steps. According to pest experts the first thing to do is to pour degreaser down your kitchen drain. That keeps them from pasting eggs on the inside of the drain. It leaves nothing they can lay eggs in. The second thing to do is keep potatoes and onions stored in a closed cabinet or drawer where no eggs can be laid in them. That is one place fruit flies love to lay eggs. If you can't keep the pests out of your closed areas then put a good trap in there with them. They are readily available. And the third thing to do is to spray the fruit flies hanging out on your kitchen wall with a good fruit fly spray. Click on the pictures below to view all three of these items at Amazon

Here is a product review by user  Roy Jaruk

If you have a bug problem and you want to get rid of the bugs without putting yourself, your family or your pets at risk, CB-80 is an excellent choice. I recommend it wholeheartedly. You can also use it in the garden, in the kennel and in the barn. It's safe even for cats. It's not cheap, but it works better than the stuff you can buy at the supermarket or the hardware store. That, ultimately, is the test of a good product. IT WORKS!

Within the first 3 hours of having these products out, a little over half of all of the fruit flies were in one of these jars instead of flying around the kitchen. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I think I had more fruit flies then prior people that posted, but I could be wrong. I checked back about 4 hours later and the majority of the remaining fruit flies were in the jars also. Yippee! Both of these products worked for me.

If you're going to do heavy duty cleaning place something under the parts to catch the runoff. The parts themselves will dry in just a few minutes and be ready to lube, but the runoff will hang around and stain whatever it falls on.

It is costly to get rid of fruit flies. But it is worth the health benefits of keeping dirty insects out of your food.
